Many of us only know Turkey from its endless beaches.  However the country beyond the Bosporus is wonderfully varied : precipitously high mountains, sub-tropical woodlands, barren, semi-desert  and snow-covered volcano landscapes  are just some of the faces of Turkey, as are the rugged coasts and extensive swamps.  These habitats are all occupied by a multitude of special animals and plants.  For Turkey is a bridge between Europe and Asia.  In the course of history a host of flora and fauna species migrated here.  This film portrays this natural colourful disorder.
