Wild Germany - The alps of Berchtesgaden

Whoever wants to survive in this wilderness must be perfectly adapted to the environment. In dizzying heights the viewer encounters chamoises with their newborn kids, camouflage experts like the ptarmigan and alpine flowers such as the legendary edelweiss. Marmots tussle in extreme slow motion on the alpine pastures and the mysterious burbot spawns in the depths of lake Königssee. This fish, originally native to saltwater, ended up in freshwater habitats about 10 million years ago.
