Studied in Cologne: German language and literature, archaeology, ancient history. Freelance work for WDR radio in order to finance this purely aesthetic activity. After completing his studies, trainee at SFB. Afterwards, freelancer again for radio and television, with a period as employed TV-editor (WDR, "hier und heute"). Various prizes and awards.
