Carved over millions of years the Grand Canyon is probably the most famous natural wonder on our planet. Countless visitors come each year but what really happens between rim and river has never been told.


Director: Henry M. Mix

Henry is a producer, director and cameraman for natural history documentaries, and worked for a number of national and international networks, incl. NDR, ARTE, BBC, National Geographic and others. He worked as biodiversity expert for various environmental projects in Central Asia, Russia, Mongolia, Georgia and other countries. He is a board member of the German Species Conservation Foundation and was Series Producer of the so far biggest German natural history series (Wild Russia).

Director: Yann Sochaczewski

Yann Sochaczewski is French and was born in 1984 in Strassbourg. After his highschool diploma he worked for 2 years as camera assistant for Nautilus and from 2006 for Light & Shadow GmbH. From 2008 until 2010 he worked freelance as assistent producer and camera man. Since 2011 Yann is Producer and camera man at Altayfilm GmbH.
