Electricity 2.0 - Making Energy smart

Germany has just decided the nuclear phaseout. But how can we achieve that?This film introduces three projects, which show new approaches to smart electricity management. So that an energy tournaround could become possible - in Germany and worldwide.

Director: Kristina Förtsch

Kristina is currently a student of directing at the Film Akademie in Baden-Württemberg. Her course of studies is educational and science films. She is also working free-lance as an author and director for TV documentaries.
She got her BA degree in „Theater & Media“ and Anglistic at the University Bayreuth and is a scholar of the Max Weber-Programm of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes since 2008. Parallel to her studies in Bayreuth she worked as a journalist and TV presenter in the departments ‚Aktualität, Kultur und Soziales‘ at bayreuth.tv. She also gained experience in various broadcasting editorial offices and independent film productions, working in editing, camera and cutting. In 2009 she accompanied a film project about theatre and development in Cameroun.
Currently she is preparing for her diploma at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
