As an author, cameraman and director, he specializes in cultural and wildlife documentaries as well as animal protection topics around the globe. In addition to mostly endangered species, his favorite protagonists include the purged poacher in the Congo or the tireless dolphin activist, as well as the shrewd jade smuggler in Myanmar or the tradition-conscious samurai who fights against nuclear energy.
