Rechte der Tiere

Numerous studies prove that many animals are aware that they are capable of suffering and pain. Animals are driven by more than the mere urge to reproduce and survive. Pet owners intuitively know that dogs and cats have feelings. And science can now prove emotions in many animals - from piglets to honeybees. This makes the question of what rights humans grant animals all the more urgent.
