Wild Hungary- A Water Wonderland

The land is characterised by the rivers Danube and Tisza and by the Puszta. The vast grasslands are a paradise for wild geese and cranes. Fishermen set their fish traps in the alluvial forests, hoping for a good catch. The filmmaker takes an affectionate look at his homeland. He accompanies shepherds looking after Gray Cattle, shows White-tailed Eagles raising their chicks and follows European Otters on the hunt. A special sight is the mating dance of the mayflies in summer.
