What's on our plates not only has an impact on ourselves and our health, but just as much on the environment, the climate and our fellow human beings - near and far. Rarely do we ask ourselves how our food was produced. Does the cucumber come from a monoculture and is full of pesticides? Or did it grow on the organically farmed field from the farm around the corner?
