La Legende de Pale Male

This is the true account of one of the most surprising and remarkable love stories in the history of New York City. A young Belgian man meets a wild Red-tailed Hawk in Central Park in 1995. He follows the bird with his camera for 16 years.

To New Yorkers, the bird is known as Pale Male. His nest on Fifth Avenue has become a place of pilgrimage for tourists and birdwatchers alike. There was loud protest when the hawk's nest was torn down without warning.
