Magpies - More than Black and White

Who doesn't know the black and white birds next door, with their long tail feathers and their angry call. Eurasian magpies can be found almost everywhere in the world, but they also have lesser-known relatives. The reputation of magpies is rather bad: they are considered thieving and sneaky. These corvids are actually very smart and curious. Their distinctive appearance and the fact that they are often around humans, has made them part of our culture.
