The Guardians of Mukogodo Forest

Across Kenya, forests are disappearing. Yet, at the foothills of Mount Kenya, the Yiaku Indigenous Community have harnessed their ancient traditions to defend their ancestral lands. Told through the perspective of Lesi Lentula, a Yiaku elder, this film reveals how a relationship between a community and bees has become the unlikely saviour of Mukogodo Forest.
