Tierisches Hamburg - Natur in der Millionenstadt

Hamburg’s Fish Market and its seagulls, geese breeding on a balcony near the city center, foxes at the airport, cranes and eagles, deer and butterflies. No other major German city has as many animal and plant species as Hamburg. 160 bird species and more than 50 mammal species alone are part of the Hanseatic city’s natural habitat. The film shows the city's most unusual places, where eagle owls breed, seals rest on sandbanks and beavers surf the Elbe's tidal current.
