Green Screen has added a new category „Nordic Nature Film Award”

Exceptional documentaries on Baltic region subjects qualify for the Green Screen Nordic Nature Film Award.

The newly established 2,500 Euro award will be donated by the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Energy, Agriculture, the Environment and Rural Areas.   Documentaries with a minimum of 25 minutes run time submitted in that category should feature unspoilt nature within the Baltic region as well as “people who have been shaping and maintaining Baltic landscapes for a long time or else feature problems for which humans society and politics have to take on more responsibility in order to protect nature”, so the specifications for the award.   Filmmakers from all countries bordering the Baltic Sea and those addressing subjects of that region qualify for the award. The Nordic Nature Film Award replaces the former Green Screen Award “Wildes Schleswig-Holstein”.
