Panel Discussion "Eckernfoerder Talks" : The Over-fertilisation of the Baltic Sea

This year too, the "Eckernfoerde Talks" will ring in the GREEN SCREEN festival-week with a panel discussion about an environmental issue. The topic this year: "The Over-fertilisation of the Baltic Sea - A Challenge for Politics, Economy and Consumers". The "Eckernfoerde Talks" emphasize GREEN SCREEN'S commitment to worldwide preservation of biodiversity and to the protection of natural environments. The cinematic basis for this year's discussion is the critical film "Dirty Waters" by Swedish filmmaker Folke Ryden, who will arrive in Eckernfoerde from Sweden to take part in the discussion. Further participants: Dr. Robert Habeck, Schleswig-Holstein's minister for the environment and energy; Ulrike Rodust, member of the European Parliament; Prof. Rainer Horn, scientist at the University of Kiel; Klaus-Peter Lucht, head of the district farmers' association Rendsburg-Eckernförde; and Stefan Borgmann from Eckernfoerde's Tourism and Marketing Company GmbH. The panel discussion will take place on September 4th at 7 p.m. in the "Galerie 66", Kieler Straße 78 in Eckernfoerde. All those interested are warmly invited. Admission is free.
