The submission period for the Festival 2021 is from Dec. 15th, 2020 to March 15th, 2021.

Since 2007 the international GREEN SCREEN film competition is the core of the festival, honoring the BEST WILDLIFE FILMS each year.

Professional jury members judge all films submitted to the competition. Winners enjoy exposure within the wildlife film and TV industry and beyond.

During the last ten years, Green Screen has advanced to be the meeting point of its kind in Germany. Next to the screenings, professional workshops, talks and seminars are on offer, as well as rooms for viewings and a fun social program.

In this year, everything is a little different and unfortunately there will be no industry meeting at the Green Screen Festival in September. However, filmmakers will still have the opportunity to get in touch during the festival days. Virtually.
