Nach seiner Ausbildung in der Gesellschaft für bildende Filme in München, gründete Dieter Hoese seine eigene Produktionsfirma „Expo-Film GmbH“ in München, mit der er PR- und Dokumentarfilme auf allen Kontinenten als Kameramann und Regisseur produziert. Er arbeitete jahrzehntelang mit Heinz Sielmann in den bedeutenden Refugien der Natur und restauriert die wertvollen Filmkopien.

Durch ein Kunst- und Musikstudium, mit dem Schwerpunkt Film und TV in Frankfurt am Main sowie die freie Mitarbeit in den Filmabteilungen mehrerer Werbeagenturen und bei zahlreichen Produktionsfirmen sammelte Uli Pförtner technische und kreative Erfahrungen in allen Genres. Autorentätigkeiten folgten zunächst für ARD-Anstalten und das ZDF. Tiere und Natur bilden einen Schwerpunkt - wenn auch nicht den einzigen - in der Arbeit des Autors und Regisseurs. Er entwickelte eigene kameratechnische Lösungen, um in schwierigen Gewässern zu filmen.

Nach dem Studium der Geschichte und Sozialwissenschaften in Köln und Erfahrungen als freier Autorin für Print, Hörfunk und Fernsehen seit 2000 Redakteurin bei ARTE in Straßburg, zur Zeit in der Redaktion Dokumentationen und Magazine. Dort zuständig für Dokumentationen aus den Bereichen Natur, Tier, Entdeckung und Wissenschaft sowie das wöchentliche Umweltmagazin « Global ». Zum Teil aufgewachsen auf Norderney, daher mit besonderer Liebe zum Meer.

Florian Gloza-Rausch (Jahrgang 1972) studierte Zoologie, Meereskunde und Biochemie in Kiel. Schon zum Abitur begann er, sich mit Fledermäusen zu beschäftigen. Heute leitet der Diplom-Biologe als Geschäftsführer das Noctalis-Fledermauszentrum in Bad Segeberg, ist Kurator der Noctalis-Erlebnisausstellung und verantwortlich für deren audio-visuelle Beiträge.

Der gebürtige Flensburger absolvierte ein Diplom-Filmstudium und war danach im Ausland tätig. Als Kameramann, Autor und Regisseur realisiert er für Kino, TV und Werbung viele preisgekrönte Produktionen. Landesweit ist Claus Oppermann auch als Moderator für Filmprogramme und Referent in der Schul-, Jugend- und Erwachsenenbildung an Ausbildungseinrichtungen tätig.

Ulrike Reetz (geboren 1943 im Harz) lebt in Hamburg und hat über 10 Jahre lang im Produktionsbereich von NDR Naturfilm gearbeitet. Studiert und praktiziert hat sie davor allerdings in ganz anderen Bereichen: Gebrauchsgrafik, Soziologie und Pädagogik.
