The Wild Pyrenees - Mountains of Light

This steep mountain chain stretches over a distance of at least 400 km with dense woodland, waterfalls and mountain lakes in a natural, unspoilt Pyrenean landscape between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. An Eldorado for innumerable animals and plants.

Sun and clouds reflecting with the mountain light capture enchanting scenes, hour by hour, e new and breathtaking pictures appear daily. The Mediterranean climatic influence bewitches alpine meadows into a sea of flowers and home to many species of fauna. In the French "Cirque de Gavernie" marmots bring up their young and bears wander through the Aran gorge. Bearded vultures glide over their extensive, moutainous territory, seeking prey.
