Angelique and the Gorillas

Hidden in the jungle of the Congo Basin lies the territory of lowland gorilla Makumba. The research of biologist Angelique Todd is the first to shed a light on the nearly unexplored lifestyle of this species. In seven years of hard work, Angelique has developed a close connection to silverback Makumba and his troop, who in their turn have become accustomed to humans. Wildlife filmmaker Thomas Behrend tells the story of Angelique and the gorilla clan in unique pictures and with unexpected intimacy.
