born 1972 and raised in Stolberg/Rheinland, near the northern Eifel mountain range. Having graduated from the local high school, he wrote for the newspaper "Stolberger Nachrichten". Studied in Cologne: German language and literature, archaeology, ancient history. Freelance work for WDR radio in order to finance this purely aesthetic activity. After completing his studies, trainee at SFB. Afterwards, freelancer again for radio and television, with a period as employed TV-editor (WDR, "hier und heute"). Various prizes and awards.
