Director: Georg Misch

Georg Misch, director and producer. His career in the film business began as a sound engineer, before he studied film and media at the University of Stirling and the field of directing documentary film at the British National Film and Television School (NFTS). After being featured on the „Saatchi&Saatchi new directors showcase“ in Cannes, he turned to advertising. After a short stint there, he rediscovered his true passion, documentary film. As director and producer he made films for BBC, Channel4, ARTE and other renowned European TV stations. Three of his full-length documentaries were released in Austria, Germany and the United States. In 2002 he founded Mischief Films together with Ralph Wieser. From time to time he still acts as a sound engineer. Since 2004 he has been head of the sound engineering branch at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
