Christian Herrmann was born in Berlin-Lichtenberg in 1957. After graduating from high school in 1978 he studied Communication Sciences, International Politics and Psychology at the University of Munich, acquiring his M.A. in 1983. In the following years he worked as a press officer at the Consulate General in Munich, before turning to editing and producing international documentaries for ARD/ARTE and Bavarian Broadcastin BR in 1987. His wildlife film production "AL MAHA - IM VISIER DES FALKEN" about falconry in Dubai was awarded the prize for the Best Short Film at the GREEN SCREEN festival 2007. Besides working as a wildlife and documentary filmmaker, Christian Herrmann gives lectures among others at Munich University's Institute for Communication Sciences. Since 2005 he is further committed to supporting children in need as chairman of the association "Hilfe für Kinder e.V.". In 2010, he initated the Austrian wildlife film festival NaturFilmTage im Tannheimer Tal

1979 in Hannover geboren und mit den „Expeditionen ins Tierreich“ groß geworden. Abgeschlossenes Medien- Design- Studium gemischt mit ein paar Semestern Biologie und folgende Cutter Ausbildung an der Bayerischen Akademie für Fernsehen. Davor und danach machte sie bereits Naturfilme auf eigene Faust z.B. in Madagaskar und Ecuador (Greenscreen- Preis der Jugendjury 2010), die ihr einen weiteren Weg als Tierfilmerin möglich machten. So hat sie zuerst als Regieassistentin bei einer Produktion des Bayerischen Rundfunks mitgearbeitet und danach als Kameraassistentin bei Light & Shadow gelernt. Seit sie sich 2012 mit "GREEN SHEEP” selbständig gemacht hat, arbeitete sie für verschiedene Produktionen des NDR, WDR, NatGeo und ARTE als Kamerafrau. Darüber hinaus ist sie nach wie vor als Avid Cutterin tätig. Die Dreharbeiten für das nächste eigene Tierfilm- Projekt sollen noch dieses Jahr starten.

The Dipl.-Geographer (subsidiary subjects Geology and Oceanography) worked for the Pedagogical University Kiel and the Central Office for Regional Studies of the SHHB before he carried out the Ecological Survey Eckernfoerde in 1984/85 and subsequently became responsible for the ecological development of this city. Eckernfoerde received numerous awards for its success in nature protection and ecological city planning and enjoys recognition even in Japan and the U.S.A. Furthermore Michael Packschies is member of the Advisary Council for Nature Conservancy of the federal government of Schleswig-Holstein and co-initiated the GREEN SCREEN FESTIVA

Claudia Sewig, born 1972, studied in Hannover and Hamburg biologie and worked in Zoos and at the Durrell Wildlife Conversations Trust of Jersey. In the connection she finished the Axel-Springer-Journalist`s school. Since 2001 Claudia Sewig is chief of the science editorshipat the Hamburger Abendblatt where she serves intensively the subject area Nature and Environment. Her article series about Nature reserves were prize-winning. 2009 her biography about Bernhard Grzimek appeared "Der Mann, der die Tiere liebte" ("The man, who loved animals").

Christian Baumeister is one of the most successful German animal and nature filmmakers. Born in Münster in 1971 Christian Baumeister stands for breathtaking large landscapes, detailed animal portraits and perfect image compositions. He studied biology in Germany and wildlife photography in England after having experimented with animal photography as a youngster. His subsequent projects took him to South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. In 2001 the award winning filmmaker established the production company Light & Shadow. He has increasingly worked as a producer and has been conceptualising animal series.

Klaus Scheurich is one of the pioneers of German High Definition cinematography and through working with HD devices has acquired extensive knowledge of the matter.

Udo A. Zimmermann studied German language and literature, sociology and geography. He was a research assistant at Munich University and visiting student at the University of Television and Film (HFF Munich). As editor and author for numerous wildlife and conservation series, he gained experience while shooting films in many remote corners of the world. Since 2005, he heads the editorial department Wildlife and Nature, thus being responsible for nature and wildlife series at BR.
