Life Force 2: Borneo

Borneo is one of the great biodiverse eco-systems on earth. Here, the tallest rainforest on earth have thrived almost untouched for over a houndred million years, harboring an extraordenary group of creatures, including 30 species of gliding animals that have evolved to live in these forests. The lush tropical jungle also shelters the stranges giant ape on earth, one of the rarest cats, the oddest looking monkey found nowhere else, and gygmy versions of the rhino, elephant and bear.

Satoshi Okabe puts a degree in marine biology and experience as a scuba-diving instructor to good use as an NHK producer specializing in underwater programs. His programs on subjects such as coral spawning and the fishes of Lake Tanganyika have won numerous international awards including a Special Jury Prize at the Banff TV Festival and one of Japan's most respected prizes for scientific TV programs, the Takayanagi Memorial Award.
