The film takes us into the wonderful world of the polar day in northern Scandinavia. North of the polar circle the sun hardly sets in summer. There is food in abundance, but animals and plants face great challenges.

The summer is short and there is little time to bring a new generation through. Around the clock, it is all about growing, feeding, feeding, hunting.

But lack of sleep, mosquitoes and the constant threat of predators spread hectic and stress.
