This film takes the viewer into the magical world of the polar night in northern Scandinavia. When the sun disappears for a long time in winter north of the Arctic Circle, darkness and cold dominate the country. But nature copes surprisingly well with this.

The plants and animals that survive here have adapted to the extreme conditions with many different abilities.
