Die Nordfriesischen Inseln

Im Griff der Naturgewalten

It is not only storm surges that keep changing the North Frisian Islands. The increasing warming of the North Sea is causing "globalization under water". Beaches and even the Wadden Sea are in danger of "drowning" due to rising sea levels. And man is also using the islands more and more intensively and changing them. The film meets animals that successfully live in the grip of the forces of nature such as grey seals, snake needles and ghost crabs.
