GREEN SCREEN looks for the next wildlife movie star!

Enter the Heinz Sielmann Youth Film Award now! Donated by the Heinz Sielmann Foundation or participate on the GREEN REPORT Junior of the Ministry of Energy Transition, Agriculture, Enviroment and Digitalization.

Your film will be viewed by an international expert panel of judges and if it receives a nomination, it will be featured in the International Wildlife Filmfestival GREEN SCREEN in Eckernförde. Professional filmmakers will be present at the event to give you all the tips and tricks of the trade to make a winning film. We are looking forward to your film.

The submission period has been extended to August 15, 2023.

YOUTH FILM AWARD CEREMONY

Sunday - 10. September 2023, Turnhalle alte Willers Jessen Schule, 12 Uhr – Entrance free!

Young nature film stars wanted - young filmmakers up to the age of 18 can once again submit their own produced films to the GREEN SCREEN Youth Film Award. From all submissions a professional jury nominates the best films, which will be shown and awarded at the International Nature Film Festival.

On the Sunday of the festival the winners will be awarded in two categories: The Heinz Sielmann Youth Film Award (donated by the Heinz Sielmann Foundation) honors the best youth nature films on the topic of nature, species conservation and biodiversity.

The best films on the topic of sustainable action for the environment and nature are honored with the GREEN REPORT Junior (donated by the Ministry for Energy Transition, Climate Protection, Environment and Nature).

There is up to 1,000 euros in prize money to be won per cateogy. The award ceremony will be hosted by Kinderkanal presenter Tim "Timster" Gailus.

The free admission tickets can be picked up directly at the TicketCenter via ticket order from August 28, 2023.
